For San Francisco, 49 match days are a thing of the past for both the New York and New England Patriots teams.
Nine of them are officially in the teeth of their program, which means two things: Their defense will get a much better attack every week and their attack must be able to constantly put points on the board to keep up.

Against the Seattle Hawks on Sunday, 49 people experienced what life was like outside the Northeast Corridor when Seattle dominated the Niners 37-27 on the CenturyLink field. The losses have reduced Western NFC Niners to 4-4 and 1-2.
Without their signatures, the Niners were able to hide many of their warts, partly because they played against weaker opponents. That’s enough.
After a slow start, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf’s receiver found their train and started to get the ball up and down against the 49-point team, which held on to chewing gum for most of the season.
The nine had to know that such an attack was imminent, which meant it was time for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and the forwards to take up the challenge and start a shooting. Instead of firing all the cylinders and exchanging offensive blows with the Seahawks, the Niners’ attack failed. When Seattle dared to push the ball onto the pitch, Garoppolo was inaccurate and indecisive. The passing defense was inconsistent at best, and a game without the services of Rahim Moster or Jeff Wilson Jr. offered little. Only when they got too far behind and Nick Mullens supported them, the Niners moved the ball consistently.
Yeah, key persons from 49 people like Mostert and Dibo receiver Samuel disappeared because of their injuries. Yes, Haroppolo and George Kittle suffered ankle and foot injuries in the fourth quarter, respectively. The Niners’ season is about to turn to play the Green Bay Packers on Thursday and a trip to New Orleans to play the Saints next week is about to turn and it will take something special to get things back on track.
Describe the game in two words: No juice. Apart from a few defensive games at the beginning and a spark of attacking spirit a little later, the 49ers looked like a team that only played in the country and offered a little resistance in a game that usually offers much more drama.
The destruction of the Buy More: Garoppolo’s last ankle injury was his second of the season. Last time it was a sprained ankle that cost him two parts and the third part. It remains to be seen how difficult it will be, but whoever plays quarterback next week will have to do a lot more to beat Aaron Rogers and the Packers.
Before losing to Mullens, Garoppolo was 11 for 16 for 84 yards, without touchdown or interception, with a passing score of 55.2. It was another rough offense against the Seattle defense, which allowed 479.2 yards per game.
