We have a new poster for Star Wars: Bad lot. This is the last series of the Galaxy expansion far, far away under the Disney regime. In this case, it’s a new animated series that will launch right after the final season of The Clone Wars and will revolve around the group of clone troopers mentioned in the title. The poster gives us a new perspective on the band. Additionally, Lucasfilm has unveiled a new emoji for use on social media ahead of the launch of Star Wars Day.

Are you doing your job? ???. Star Wars: @TheBadBatch, the original series, comes on the 4th. May on @DisneyPlus. #TheBadBatchpic.twitter.com/jvkKf8fvLU

The poster features several members of Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Party. We also get a new look at the mysterious little kid who was featured in the series’ trailer. His identity and importance to the series remain a mystery. We also see some ships and a battle in the background, with nothing but Palpatine hovering over the entire scene. The new smiling face represents Hunter, the leader of the wrong party.

APPROPRIATE: The new trailer for Bad Batch will air on Disney+ on Star Wars Day.

Star Wars: The evil party targets the elite and experimental troops of Clone Force 99. They are a unique troop of clones, genetically different from their fellow clone army members. The group was introduced to the franchise in The Clone Wars. The story takes place just after the Clone Wars and the soldiers must find their way in a changing galaxy. Each member of Bad Batch has a unique and extraordinary ability that makes them highly effective soldiers and a great team.

The series is executive produced by Dave Filoni (Mandalorian, The Clone Wars), Athena Portillo (The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance) and Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance, NCIS). Also on board are Carrie Beck (The Mandalorians, Star Wars Rebels) as co-executive producer and Josh Rhimes (Star Wars Resistance) as producer. Rau also directs and Corbett is the head writer.

This is one of the few new Star Wars projects to be commissioned. Given the success of the Mandalorian movie, Disney and Lucasfilm have more than doubled the television portion of the franchise. Andorra, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Akolita are also featured. There are also several Mandalorian-era spin-offs, including Boba Fett’s book, Ahsoka, and the New Republic Rangers. These performances will be part of a series of as yet untitled events.

Although the emphasis is on action films, Lucasfilm is not giving up on animated films. This is good news for fans who have enjoyed Clone Wars and Rebels in recent years. Star Wars: The Bad Party takes place on the 4th. Premiering in May on Disney+ with a 70-minute special episode. The second episode will follow on Friday the 7th. May. The following episodes will appear every Friday. Be sure to check out the new Star Wars poster on Twitter.
