Marvel and Fox released the latest poster and trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Hellfire Club, the sequel to the box office hit X-Men: First Class and the follow-up to this year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, which hit theaters May 23. Only this time, the newest installment takes place in the ’80s, as Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Eric Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) must team up with their younger selves in order to save the world from an ancient evil.

Marvel has released a new trailer for the X-Men: Hellfire Club animated series, which premieres on the Marvel Knights YouTube channel on July 26.  The Hellfire Club was a secret society founded by the wealthy businessman Edward “Ned” Buckman as a haven for the world’s wealthiest people, but has been used in the comics as a cover for the X-Men’s enemies, such as Sebastian Shaw, Emma Frost and the White Queen.

Marvel Comics has released a trailer for Hellfire Gala, an upcoming X-Men event that will open up the Marvel Universe to a new X-Men team featuring fan-selected Polaris, and another secret announcement about the future of mutants. The event is featured in 12 X-Men comics that Marvel will release in June, including Planet-Size X-Men #1. The event will also launch a new ongoing X-Men series from Jerry Duggan and Pepe Larraz, as well as two mystery series, one from current X-Men writer Jonathan Hickman and the other from X-Factor writer Leah Williams.

You can watch the trailer for the Hellfire Gala below. Here’s how Marvel describes the event in a press release:

The inhabitants of planet Earth. While you slept, the world changed. The iconic opening line of House of X #1, the beginning of Jonathan Hickman’s radical transformation of the X-Men franchise, foreshadowed the incredible plans the mutants would unleash on the Marvel universe. In June, the X-Men will once again set out to change the world during the first HELLFIRE GALA. The highly anticipated story is told in twelve episodes, offering different perspectives and angles on a unique night that will be a milestone in Marvel Comics history. During the event, fans can expect key moments that will shape the future of the X-Men as we know them – the debut of the first Krakoan X-Men team, plans for planet-sized mutants in the Marvel Universe, bold new directions for everyone’s favorite X-Men, and of course fashion looks created by some of the industry’s best artists. Be the first to know about upcoming events in the new HELLFIRE GALA TRAILER, featuring never-before-seen artwork.
