Each week, the editors at Blasting News publish the most popular hoaxes and misleading information to help you tell the truth from the lies. Here are some of the most common false claims this week, none of which are legitimate.
USA
Complaints: COVID-19 arrived 400 meters from a Chinese laboratory that studies coronaviruses.
Facts: According to reports on Twitter, the first cases of the new coronavirus were recorded at a fish market in the Chinese city of Wuhan, just 400 meters from the Chinese Communist Party laboratory studying the coronavirus in bats. The lawsuit was also shared by Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz.

Complaints: Google Earth has blocked access to the Suez Canal.
