Atascadero Chamber of Commerce Gala & virtual event Ticket sales

ATASCADERO – The annual Atascadero Chamber of Commerce gala and awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 17 at 7 p.m.

This year, the Chamber is pleased to announce that Nina Lozano, co-director of KSBY News, will be the master of ceremonies. Ms. Lozano was born in the Philippines and is a proud graduate of Diliman University with a degree in audiovisual communication.

Lozano joined KSBY News in October 2020. Before moving to the Central Coast, she spent three years at KTNV-TV, Scripps’ ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked as a presenter and reporter. Before that, she worked as a reporter in Rochester, New York.

Being part of this community makes me proud to call the Central Coast my home, Lozano said.

According to the chamber, Lozano will bring enthusiasm and energy to the virtual programming of the gala, so the community will feel like they are celebrating something together, even online.

This year’s Speakeasy theme should be full of fun and excitement, all in the comfort of your own home.

The Chamber has planned an evening that will include everything from dynamic local speakers, to fantastic local entertainment, to an interactive silent auction – an exciting and fast-paced event open to the entire community.

As in previous years, the following awards will be presented at the gala: Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Ambassador of the Year.

Because of the uncertainty of a face-to-face meeting, Gala is about to come up with a proposal for discussion, said Josh Cross, interim CEO of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. We needed a theme that reflected the times, in that we asked people to celebrate safely at home by participating in an event that supports the economic future of our community.

Participants can choose from three themed ticket options ranging from $25 to $125.

Moonshine ticket includes one lot for an item worth $350 or more.

The Side Car ticket includes a raffle ticket, a meat plate to take away, a baguette and a bottle of wine.

In addition, the Sidecar ticket now includes a fresh baguette from Hush Harbor Bakery and a large case of charcuterie from Ancient Peaks Winery.

The Bees Knees package includes a raffle ticket, dinner for two and a bottle of wine.

Three fun VIP experiences, offered by Alta Colina Winery, Wild Fields Brewhouse and Forager Spirits, begin at 5:30 p.m. on the evening of the gala and will be presented by the businesses’ owners.
