According to Rich Cholodofsky of the Pittsburgh Riew booth, University of Pittsburgh football and basketball radio spokesman William Bill Hillgrove is serving a two-year probation last spring for a drunken driving arrest.

Hillgrove was arrested and accused of driving under the influence of the police after the police arrest on 15 September. In June 2020, he reported that he was driving his SUV in front of a supermarket in Murrisville, Pennsylvania. A ShurSave de Ferri official on the Old William Penn Expressway said Hillgrove broke into two windows and then went in to fill a prescription before he left.

According to the results of the Tribune Review blood alcohol test, the blood alcohol level in Hillgrove was at least 0.16%, which is twice as high as the limit at which a motorist from Pennsylvania is considered intoxicated.

Bill Hillgrove and the Accelerated Rehabilitation Program

At this week’s hearing, Hillgrove agreed to join the Accelerated ARD Rehabilitation Preparation Program for Non-Giolent Offenders, Kholodofsky said, adding that inclusion in the program did not require admission of guilt and would allow for further analysis of the criminal case.

Hillgrove was accepted as a candidate for the ARD show, although he had already participated in the show. According to the court hearing, Hillgrove was arrested after the incident on the 21st. He was hired in November 2001, which resulted in his being sentenced to a probationary period of one year.

Under the agreement relating to the June case, Hillgrove withdrew two invoices for drink-driving at the end of the probationary period, – advises Kholodofsky, who also reported that Hillgrove has compensated the damage and that Steelers’ spokesman has been suspended for 60 days.

After the incident, the Stalers from Hillgrove were suspended, as a result of which the first two games of the Stalers season could not be broadcast.

The ARD program is designed to quickly resolve cases where the offender can be corrected for rehabilitation and treatment. It is also intended to avoid costly and time-consuming litigation, the resources of which could be better used elsewhere.

Cameron button: Commercial rumours

The situation was very different on Tuesday night, when there was a very short period of speculation that the fourth corner quarterback of the Steelers, Cam Sutton, would act, although the rumors were not really based on evidence.

On Wednesday, several steelworkers beat up journalists and tried to put an end to the rumors when Mark Kabola of Athletic told the fans that the team did not intend to deal with Sutton.

According to the source, steel producers have ZERO intentions in their dealings with Cam Sutton. So we can move on.

In the same way, Jerry Dulak of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette commented that Sutton was in the team room on Wednesday like any other and that she attended the meetings.

For those who keep asking: All I can tell you is that Cam Sutton is in the Steelers’ district today to attend meetings.

It makes no sense for steelmakers to trade with Sutton if he is an unrestricted free agent in 2021. As a safety net, he probably won’t learn much from the trade and will probably remain available if the Steelers want him back next season, unlike Mike Hilton, for example, who will remain available indefinitely for the upcoming off-season.
