Charlotte, N.C. — After missing three games due to a shoulder injury, the Pro Bowl, led by Christian McCaffrey, returns Sunday to the Carolina Panthers, who were unable to play two of the top three wide receivers due to the coronavirus.

DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel were among the eight players on Monday’s NFL/COVID 19 roster. The rest goes beyond the Shack Thompson linebacker, Derrick Brown’s defensive takeover, Zack Kerr’s defensive takeover, Greg Little’s offensive takeover, player Michael Palardi and receiver Ismail Hyman.

Palardi (knee) is already on the injury list at the end of the season and Haymann is the coach. Inclusion in the list would therefore not have affected Carolina (4-8) at 13.00 against the Denver Broncos (4-8).

The loss of Moore and Samuel would have occurred if they had not been removed from the list. They account for 36.5% of crew landings (104 out of 285), 46.2% of landing sites (1,431 out of 3,120) and 46.7% of landing sites (7 out of 15).

For McCaffrey, the return to uncertainty is part of the 2020s, when injuries – a high ankle dislocation in week 2 and a shoulder injury in week 9 – limit him to three games.

I hope that’s only normal for a course in 2020, McCaffrey said on the Zoom phone. It’d be great to be the first. January would be over. That’s really what we’ve all learned this year, and the reason we’re doing it on the phone.

You have to be able to adapt and you don’t have to apologize. You have to keep going and do everything you can. It’s soccer with injuries. And then there’s COVID.

Moore had already suffered an ankle injury in the team’s last game before the farewell game when he lost 28-27 to Minnesota, destroying almost any hope of making the playoffs. Coach Matt Roulet said the receiver is leaning towards a possible game against Denver with injuries.

COVID-19 added a new twist to the situation, leaving Robbie Anderson as the only wide receiver with more than four turns. He’s 75.

McCaffrey’s return would reduce the potential loss for both beneficiaries. He has led the team over the past three seasons, winning 303 catches for 2,523 yards and 16 touchdowns.

He comes out of the 2019 season, where he was the third player in NFL history to receive 1,000 yards in the same season and was in a hurry.

His comeback against the Denver team, where his father Ed won two Super Bowls as a wide receiver, could be a problem for the Broncos.

McCaffrey throws away his childhood memories and wants to return to the field with just one shoulder, which he thinks does him good.

I’m looking forward to a week of training and playing football with these guys, McCaffrey said. That’s what worries me.

It remains to be seen whether the Panthers (4-8) will take the field on Wednesday or any other day of the week. Monday’s training session, which was authorized because the team was out of the game, was cancelled and the facility was closed with all players on the roster.

Being on the list means that the player has either received a positive test result or has been in contact with someone who has a virus. On Sunday, Adam Schaefter of ESPN reported, citing sources, that the Panthers had two positive tests.

Last week Yetur Gross-Matos and Bruce Hector joined the team, bringing the total number of bowls in the team to 10.

A wide receiver is not the only position where Carolina can go without hands. Newcomer Bravvion Roy is the only defender of the team, although Efe Obada is also in the final.

Whatever happens to the people on the list, Mr. McCaffrey thinks he can make a difference.

I still think I can help, he said. That’s how I feel about it. Your best capacity is your availability.
