Regulatory authorities Letter of approval for the establishment of the central beach area
San Luis Obispo – The Board of Directors of the District of San Luis Obispo has unanimously agreed to the submission of a letter to the State requesting the creation of a central coastal region to include the districts of SLO, Santa Barbara and Ventura in the regional order of foster care.
Shit! Shit! Gavin Newsome announced Friday a regional house support order in response to the increase in COVID-19 cases.
The new home stay procedure will be carried out by the regional hospital networks, not by the individual districts, and will only enter into force when the total capacity of intensive care units in the region is less than 15%.
After getting to know the regions, local officials, businessmen and public figures spoke openly about their ties with Southern California. As of Monday, 15 people have been admitted to the SLA district as part of KOVID-19, four of them in intensive care.
There are a total of 53 beds in intensive care in SLO County, 31 of which are in use.
According to Borenstein, if the ASO were located in an area covering the districts of Santa Barbara and Ventura, the capacity of the intensive care unit in the proposed area would be 34% and the guarantee to stay at home would not be invoked. All three districts belong to the Purple Tier and will operate within the guidelines of the Safer Economy Plan, which is less restrictive than Home Stay.
ASO’s district council of supervisors spent two hours on the subject, including 40 minutes of public commentary. None of these commentators supported membership in the Southern California region.
Many asked the council to ignore order, stay at home, take the side of the state and allow shops and schools to open safely.
There are five regions – Northern California, Grand Sacramento, the Gulf region, the San Joaquin Valley and Southern California – including San Luis Obispo County.
The district of San Luis Obispo is part of the Southern California region, which includes the counties of Imperial, Iño, Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura.
The proposed sixth region would be located in three States or on the central coast.
The capacity of the intensive care unit in Southern California fell to less than 15% on Friday evening and the home care order went into effect on Sunday evening.
According to the regional residence scheme, large businesses such as grocery shops should use up to 20% of their capacity; bars, cellars, lounges and restaurants should be closed and hotels opened only to support critical infrastructure.
Schools can stay open if they are refused. Restaurants can continue to take care of transport and delivery.
The order will remain in effect for at least three weeks and will be cancelled at the end of that period if the expected capacity of the intensive care unit in the region reaches or exceeds 15%. The assessment takes place weekly after an initial period of three weeks.
