Following in the footsteps of the Avengers, a cinematic world where Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk are the heroes who save the world. This only became clear when these heroes and others confronted Thanos in Avengers: The Infinity War and the Avengers: End of the game, after half the population of the universe was wiped out for five years and then revived. WandaVision will be the first step in Phase 4 of the Marvel movie universe, which centers on Wanda Maximoff and her husband The Vision. However, the world of avengers must clearly face the fact that the whole world knows these characters and their avenging friends.

The world we see, I mean, yeah, like all the movies that take place in the MCU, there’s a certain amount that the audience knows, says Kevin Feige, the director of Marvel Studios, when asked how the Avengers fit into WandaVision. That’s not all the viewers know, because we have a privileged view of everything, almost everything, but there’s an album, so someone will recognize the red-faced android walking around.

In a recent television spot for WandaVision, Agnes Katherine Hahn has a moment of realization when she claims Vision is one of the Avengers and asks if he’s there to save her and the others. However, the focus is clearly on the two main characters, with the series specifically allowing you to explore parts of Wanda Maximoff and her evolution into a true scarlet witch. This means that his strengths, his family, his relationships and his development will be at the forefront of the show.

All of them. Can I say that? Feige talked about Wanda’s journey to WandaVision. I mean, you put your finger on the problem. Here’s the answer. Have you answered the question, why WandaVision? Why Wanda and the vision? And it’s a two-pronged answer. One of them because the potential for comic book characters and stories is huge, and it’s incredible. We’ve only just scratched the surface. And the other answer is that Elizabeth Olson and Paul Bettany play these two characters, and they’re spectacular performers and actors, which again, I thought you’ve only scratched the surface so far to see what they can do with these characters in the film. And that combination meant that when we designed and launched it, it was one of the first Disney+ series to make its debut.
