Like his father, Vincent Van Patten sen. has worked as an actor since childhood and has participated in numerous TV series and films since the 1970s.

The Duke of the Valley is based on the memories of actor Dick Van Patten, who was best known for his performance as Father Tom Bradford in the drama series ABC Eight, which sufficed at the end of the seventies. The co-authors of the series are Dick’s son, Vince Van Patten, and his grandson, Duke Van Patten, who co-authored the series. Vince Van Patten will direct and produce with the help of James Van Patten, Stephan Colson and Kim Waltryp. The first episode is currently being filmed and recorded, but without channel or release date.
