Whether you’re working from home or lounging on the couch, there’s nothing more comfortable than putting on your favorite pair. For many, Lululemon has become almost synonymous with comfortable leggings. Lululemon has long been known for its sleek, opaque Wunder Under collection, but in recent years all the fitness influencer social media outlets have been decked out in leggings from the Align collection. After dozens of women had praised the super soft material and ultra tight high-waisted leggings, we had to try them on ourselves. Let it be known that Align is officially the dark horse of Lululemon. We even compared them to a dozen other high-end leggings when we determined the best leggings of 2021, calling Aligns the best workout leggings. What’s so great about them? First, it’s what the brand calls a naked feel – it may sound like marketing jargon, but it’s really the best way to describe how Align pants feel on the body. They are soft and sleek and literally embrace your curves from waist to ankles. Second, it’s the fabric. The material, called Nulu, is very soft, sweat-resistant and has four-way stretch. You can walk around in these pants while doing yoga or getting in and out of the car to run errands. Then there is the design. The waist is high. Very high. The double layered belt gently pulls your belly in and gives you the abdominal control you need without pushing it out, compressing or inflating. 
Other testers who participated in our guide to the best leggings of 2021 also praised the incredible softness of these leggings, giving the Align leggings high marks for everyday comfort and stretch. We also tested them when we were looking for the best leggings, and they turned out to be the second best budget leggings, just behind Colorfulkoalas. We found them very soft, not as buttery soft as the Aligns, but very similar to the Colorfulkoalas. However, they were slightly less durable, had fewer pockets, and one tester had issues with the belt often rolling off during the race.
