Golden Edition Award for 2020! Like all other entertainment sectors, the cartoon industry has certainly felt the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic this year. This means that much less anime was produced in each season. Although there are generally fewer options than in previous or subsequent years, this does not mean that any of the publications we received were weak. The animated series, films, manga releases and many other things we’ve been able to discover this year have, in spite of everything, turned out to be very special.
A wide range of experiences, including a brand new anime, new adjustments, the long-awaited return of the franchise and some sensational newcomers. In the end, cartoon fans will probably watch the year 2020 with great respect in the future.
To achieve this, we’ve decided to look at some of this year’s best and brightest anime to secure our nominations for gold anime releases in 2020. Read on to see the full list of nominees!
Best TV animation series
2020 was a very difficult year for anime, but that didn’t stop the year from collecting some very unique and special releases. Each of the major streaming services has had its share of strong anime releases, because each season has taken more licenses, and while the total is paltry compared to other years, those who have really survived the battle are the real gems.

Best Animated Film
Just like the original anime series that came to us, there have been as many incredible features for anime fans this year. Although one of the nominees on our list has not yet come from Japan, it is difficult not to see its importance for the entire animated film sector this year. But the other options here have each made a big impression in Japan and beyond!

Best fight
While there were generally fewer animated series released, those that did were impressive in many ways. This is an area where the hosts generally do their best with their battles, and these franchises are certainly not slacking this year, as every staff member seems to do his or her best with these impressive sequences. Although there have been many memorable battles this year, some have just gotten a little better.

Dear Manga
It’s been a BIG year for Shonen’s manga releases. Although the anime industry suffered significant delays due to the KOVID-19 pandemic, weekly releases continued with minor hiccups. In addition, the Shonen series had some of their greatest moments this year, and each of their series had great moments up to their most action-packed arches. In fact, each of our candidates is (or was) currently involved in a brutal war.
