New season of Star Wars: Mandalore chant is finally released at Disney+, bringing back many of the franchise’s favorite characters. But the last episode is called Chapter 9: Marshall added many other details to keep fans excited, especially with some of the most important surprises at the end of the episode. Showrunner Jon Favreau made his debut with the director in his Star Wars series and filled an episode with details that many Star Wars fans will love to share. It is difficult to predict which moments will be interwoven with the main stories as they unfold, so we are going to discuss in detail everything you need to know about the first of the second season of Star Wars: Mandalorian.

In the first of the second season, Mando and the Baby (also called Yoda Baby) venture into Tatooine, so you can imagine how deep the connections and inversions of Star Wars go! Expect, as in the first season, many more surprises.

Gore Koresh (Leguizamo)

In the mysterious premiere of the second season of The Mandalorian, Field Marshal Din Jarin (Pedro Pascal) meets Gore Koresh (a Mafia mediator) to get information about where the Mandalorians are hiding. Gore Koresh is actually a comic actor, John Leguizamo, and the cyclo-European alien race (Abyssinian) first appeared in Mos-Eisley’s Cantina in New Hope.

Mando meets Gore Koresh in the ring during a fight between two Gomorrerians. Gamorreer are pig-like creatures that are used as mercenaries, like Jabba’s cabin. They were shown in the comeback of the infamous Jedi Sarlacca well scene on Tatooine.

Lumbo pigs and their banta

The tattoo projections continue and Mando has to deal with some Tusken Raiders again (see chapter 5), and we also have to spend some time with the faithful Banta-robbing horses. Both breeds have been cultural elements of the Star Wars franchise from the beginning.
