The game between Clemson and Notre Dame was so good and so entertaining that it would be great to see those teams back on the field.
Maybe we’ll only get our revenge in the CCA championship game after the doubles of Notre Dame against Clemson (47-40) on Saturday and ESPN’s second place this week.

There is also a separate Group 5/independent representation in this week’s performance reviews. BYU (No. 6), Cincinnati (No. 7), Coastal Carolina (No. 12), Liberty (No. 19) and Marshall (No. 24) are all invincible.
The biggest setback of the week was Texas A&M, which climbed to 5th place after South Carolina. Maybe Aggis can sneak into the school soccer play-offs, even if he doesn’t play in the SEC championship.
Finally a weekend where the red tide didn’t shed any light on the resentment. Indeed, they left with more than 40 points in each of the previous five games. It is perhaps Nick Seban’s most explosive attack in Alabama, even without the broadband receiver of the injured Jalen Waddle, and the defense is also beginning to resemble what we used to see on this side of the ball in Alabama. The Crimson Tide has only scored two touchdowns in the last ten blocks.
Next point: LSU (Saturday 18.00 hours ET, CBS).
Okay, Notre Dame may not be the CCA team in the true sense of the word, but the Irish this season, and they eliminated the Goliath version of the CCA on Saturday, beating Clemson 47:40 on two points. It was the same victory that Brian Kelly’s club intended, and it was the 28th victory of the season. ended the Klemson games winning streak against the CCA rival. The Irish may have to beat the Tigers again to win the CCA championship and possibly play in the university football play-offs, but there is now no doubt that Notre Dame belongs in this elite category after playing the clutch to send the Tigers to hell.
Next rendezvous: Boston College (Saturday, TBA).
In three games Justin Fields is as perfect as he can be when it comes to playing quarterback. The 228-pound, 6-foot-3 Junior scored six touchdowns Saturday – five assists and one touchdown – and defeated Rutgers (49-27) in Ohio. Fields made 24 of 28 passes and put 87.3% of their passes into the game. The end result was a bit misleading. Ohio led 42-9 in the fourth quarter.
Next stop: Maryland (Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network).

Justin Fields throws five touchdowns and throws one, while Ohio dominates the Rutgers 49-27.
The Tigres faced several problems in South Bend, Indiana on Saturday as star quarterback Trevor Lawrence watched them from the sidelines, but none of them will ease the pain of not finishing the game and losing Notre Dame 47:40 in two games. Rookie D.J. quarterback. Uiagalelei played very well for Lawrence’s sub and ended the game with 439 assists and two touchdowns, but Clemonson let Notre Dame get 91 yards in the final minutes to put the game in overtime. Thus came an end to the 36-game winning streak of the Tigers.
Next: Florida, November 21, tbc.
On Saturday, the Kellen Mouth Show for Texas A&M was underway on runway 48-3 in South Carolina. Aggiz, the senior national team quarterback, scored his first five touchdowns – four assists and a rush – and came back to 35-0. It was a good day for Texas A&M, especially since Florida beat Georgia. They win from Florida on the 10th. October is looking better and better for Aggies, and even if they don’t make it to the SEC championship, there might be a way to get into Playoff College if they win 9-1 and the only defeat is Alabama’s invincible team.
Next: Tennessee (Saturday, 15:30 ET, ESPN).
The Cougars took the biggest step towards an unbeaten regular season on Friday when the state of Boise 51-17 was demolished on the road. For the first time since 2001, the BYU is at 0-8, and with every week that passes, it is a more convincing argument to be considered at least the place of the university football play-offs, especially when the Power 5 teams meet. Quarterback Zack Wilson had 359 yards and three touchdowns, while the Puma’s have scored more than 40 points in seven of their eight games this season.
Carry on: North Labama (21 November, 15:00 ET, ESPN3)
As impressive as the Cincinnati have been in defense this season, the Bearcats are really starting to speed up the attack. Houston’s 38-10 home win on Saturday was the fifth straight game in which they held their opponents by 13 points or less. But they also scored 38 points or more in each of their last three victories. Quarterback Desmond Ridder scored three touchdowns and also faced Pum one by one. The Bears have won all six games this season with at least two touchdowns.
Next point: against South Carolina (Friday 19.30 ET, ESPN2).
The Gators struggled with KOVID-19 and some defensive problems early in the season, but on Saturday they categorically announced that they are in the SEC Eastern Division class with a 44-28 win over Georgia in Jacksonville. Quarterback Kyle Trask threw 474 yards and four touchdowns (all in the first period), and after Dougs jumped ahead 14-0 in the first quarter, the Alligator defense lost just one touchdown for the rest of the game. Florida, which now has a tiebreaker over Georgia, has an internal trajectory for the SEC championship game.

The drought was over for Indiana, and the Hussers suddenly became the protagonists in the Big Ten. They defeated Michigan in a 24-game losing streak and defeated the Wolverines for the first time since 1987 in a Saturday game with 38-21, which was never close. Indiana quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. made 342 yards and three touchdowns, while Michigan’s second driver Ty Freifogul, who made seven catches in 142 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown, failed to cover.
Next: in Michigan (Saturday afternoon ET, ABC/ESPN2).
While Miami quarterback D’Eriq King has yet to participate in a conversation about the Heisman Trophy, he is now in a hurry after 430 yards and five touchdowns and would like to run an additional 105 yards for a road win over NC State 44-41 on Friday. King’s 54-yard touchdown pass from Mike Hurricanes beat the Hurricanes in the final minutes to win his third straight game despite the absence of 11 players, including two offensive starters, and survived the CCA run.
Next point: Virginia Tech (Saturday, TBA).

D’Eriq King threw for 430 yards and five touchdowns as Miami came back in the fourth quarter to win 44-41.
Of course, the Dougies remained without a few key defenders and were safe, but none of those excuses were beaten 41-7 after their 14-0 start. Georgia’s 44:28 defeat in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, which led to a three-game series, is not over yet. The Dawgs are having serious problems with the quarterback. Stetson Bennett fought for something that had to happen along the way and was attracted to newcomer D’Van Mathis, who threw two interceptions. Georgia only ended up with a 112-mile zone.
Next: Missouri (Saturday afternoon ET, ESPN).
With a 23-6 home victory from southern Alabama on Saturday, the Shantes remained undefeated, but there weren’t many style points, at least not the ones the Shantes needed to keep their hopes up in order to qualify for the school soccer play-offs and/or the sixth New Year’s Cupdock. And while everyone loves the attack, Coastal Carolina really deserves some props for getting through the second game in a row and not allowing a touchdown.
Next: In Troy (Saturday afternoon ET, ESPNU).
To prove otherwise, Oregon is probably Pac-12’s best choice for a play-off berth this season. On Saturday the Ducks got off to a good start in this adventure with a 35-14 victory over Stanford. And while the Cardinal had little chance without quarterback Davis Mills, Oregon quarterback Tyler Shaw was sure he would lead the NFL, Justin Herbert, who rode 227 yards and scored a touchdown and another.
Next: Washington State. Saturday, to be confirmed.
Oklahoma’s Mike Gandhi’s personality has long been built on his attack with many points, but it was the cowboy defense that saved the Sabbath and kept them at the top of the Big 12 overall. Oklahoma won 12-0 at halftime, beating Kansas 20-18 on the road. Touchdown winner Cowboy entered the game in the fourth quarter with an 85-yard touchdown from Jason Taylor II. The Cowboys also prevented the Wildcats from possibly linking 2:08 conversion points to the game. The State of Oklahoma has five out of six opponents with 21 points or less this season.
Next: Oklahoma (November 21, TBA).
It seems a lifetime ago that quarterback Graham Mertz, dressed in a red sweater, made five touchdown passes and the Badgers opened their season with an impressive 45-7 victory over Illinois. It was the 23rd. October, when Saturday’s race in Wisconsin was cancelled for the second year in a row due to positive COVID 19 test results. The cancellation of the Purdue game followed a cancellation in Nebraska a week earlier. Dachsen can now be deprived of the right to play a Big Ten championship game if it has to cancel another game.
Next stop: Michigan (Saturday, 7:30 p.m. EST, ABC).
On Saturday, Cyclones took first place in the Big 12 standings with a 38:31 victory over Baylor. It was not easy because the State of Iowa had to make up a deficit of 14 points in the third quarter and four rounds. Two of the last three games of the Cyclones are at home, and Texas has also announced a new game on Friday 27. November, after Thanksgiving, a road date. The State of Iowa has scored over 30 points in five victories this season.
Carry on: Against the State of Kansas (November 21, TBA).
It is not yet clear to what extent these tight defeats in Iowa and Kansas will continue the perishables in the Big 12 race in the coming weeks. But since then they have dominated their fourth straight game on Saturday and won with a 62-9 jump over Kansas. Oklahoma, which traveled a total of 540 meters in the Jaihawk attack, now has two weeks to prepare for a collision between Bedlam and the state of Oklahoma in Normandy.

Oklahoma scored six quick touchdowns and two TD passes, while Kansas 62-9 quickly took full control.
Breakfast at the Coliseum was a success for the RSC in the opening season – 28-27 wins Saturday against Arizona …but hardly. The Trojans made a 9 hour start on the west coast, including three somersaults over Arizona and two other waterfalls. But in the last minutes of the race USC recovered from its 13-point deficit. The Sophomore Cedon Slovis quarterback ran for 381 yards and made two touchdowns to help the Trojans play 258 yards at the speed of the Sun Devils.
Next topic: Arizona (Saturday, TBA).
Hugh Freeze has the freedom to make the best start in software history, and the way Fire won at Virginia Tech (38-35) last Saturday was as wild as it seems. Alex Barbir’s 51-yard goal with the second remaining second allowed Flames to win, just seconds after the 59-yard goal, apparently back for the Virginia Tech touchdown, was blocked. But Hokie’s coach Justin Fuente called a time-out before the ball was released and Barbir had another chance after a short quarter of Malik Willis’ Liberty. Freedom still has some tough games against NC State and Coastal Carolina, but Flames has won 2-0 this season against CCA opponents and has won nine straight games since last season.
Next: against West Carolina (Saturday, noon ET, ESPN3).
Life in danger seems to love Louisiana very much. This season, the Ragin Cajuns won six games and came from behind to win all six. They did it again on Saturday after falling back in the second quarter, then scored a two-meter touchdown by Elijah Mitchell 13-1 to break the 20-20 band and beat the Arkansas State Department 27-20. After 11 victories in 2019, Louisiana is trying to win 10 or more races for the second consecutive season.
Next topic: Against South Alabama (Saturday, 14:00 ET, ESPN+)
The Tigers are out of the game this weekend and there are signs that they are starting to see offense after scoring 83 points in their last two games, including 48-11 hits against LSU a week ago. Quarterback Sophomore Bo Knicks has scored six touchdowns in his last two games. Auburn’s defense held LSU in a pointless touchdown in the fourth quarter after Ole Miss had scored 28 points the week before. In the first three games the rebels scored more than 30 points.
Next: State of Mississippi (Saturday, 4:00 p.m. ET, SEC network).
The Texas defense took its share of criticism this season, but saved the Longhorns on Saturday by beating West Virginia 17-13 to keep them in the top 12. Twice in the fourth quarter of Texas, they managed to keep West Virginia out of the end zone by the fourth pass and kept the climbers at 43 shipyards where they rushed. The Longhorns have now won three games in a row and one out of ten. Four times in a row October 53:45 against Oklahoma.
Next point: Kansas (November 21, TBA).

Sam Ellinger made two touchdowns and threw 184 yards, while the Texas defense worked hard to lead the Longhorns to their third straight victory.
Don’t forget the wild cats in the Big Ten in Western Division. They are invincible in three races and, defensively, manage to achieve their last victory on Saturday 21/13. Home game against Nebraska. Pat Fitzgerald’s club lost a total of 36 points in the first three games, while Nebraska played without a point in the second half, the third straight game in which the Wildcats went without a point in the second half.
Next time: Saturday (19:30 EST, the Big Ten network).
The thundering herd continues to find its way into an invincible regular season. On Saturday, they brought home the UMass 51-10 and quarterback Grant Wells missed three touchdowns and walked back, while Branden Knox operated 118 yards and two touchdowns. Marshall’s six wins this season were all in double digits. The Thundering Herd is the only unbeaten team in the Conference USA, and their next three games will be at home.
Next: against Middle Tennessee (Saturday afternoon ET, CBS Sports Network).
The Mustangs recovered well after being returned to Cincinnati two weeks ago. They hurried in front of Temple 47-23 in the street on Saturday and went 13-10 hours into the rest. From there, however, SMU scored the 30-3 for Temple in the next quarter and a half, and Shane Buchele scored three of his four touchdown passes on that track. If the Mustangs can win three finals against Tulsa, Houston and East Carolina, it will be the first time since the Pony Express in the early eighties that they can achieve double-digit victories in the next seasons.
Next stop: Tulsa (Saturday, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2).
