Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant were named Thursday night as captains of the NBA All-Stars for next month.

James and Durant will lead their teams on the 4th. Mars to choose from the 22 remaining stars after receiving the most votes from all players in both conferences. The All-Star Game, which the NBA officially announced Thursday, will be played on the 7th this season. Mars to Atlanta.

However, the return routes are more controversial.

In the East, forwards Jason Tatum (Boston Celtics) and Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat) finished fourth and fifth, while James Harden (Durant and Irving) was third, Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls) was fourth and Jaylen Brown (Celtics), second in the media poll, was fifth.

The remaining 14 All-Star spots will be determined by the coaches of the two conferences. They will be voting for seven people from East and West in the coming days, and the results will be announced Tuesday night on TNT.

James’ All-Star Game team will be led by Jazz coach Quin Snyder, who led the 76ers to victory on Monday. Meanwhile, Doc Rivers, coach of the 76ers, will coach another team if the Sixers win one of their next two games or the Bucks and Nets lose again this week.
