Jose Mourinho has learned that Wales will certainly take care of Gareth Bale after the Tottenham winger was deemed to have qualified for the USMNT friendly Thursday, despite Mourinho’s warning that the tracks had done an excellent job of getting the Real Madrid player back into shape.
After returning to the club in September, Bale still has 90 minutes to play for L’Eperon, but he has three games in six days against Wales in Swansea before UEFA’s national team takes on the Republic of Ireland (15 November) and the Republic of Finland (18 November).

Wales begins a three-day match with assistant manager Rob Page, representing Ryan Giggs’ manager, absent on a mistreatment charge he denies. And Paige told Mourinho that Wales would not jeopardize the Fitness of Bales or any of the team’s players this week.
I can sympathize with what José says, because I myself was the manager of the club, Paige said at a press conference of Zoom on Wednesday.
We loan his players so they can play for Wales, so we’ll definitely take care of them.
We will not reduce the work done at club level, whether it’s Gareth Bale or anyone else. We believe that what we offer is the athletic preparation of the elite for the games.
I haven’t talked to him [Mourinho], but we have a plan for Gareth, and he’s no different from the other players.
If they come to play on Saturday, they have a second day off on Monday. If they play on Sunday, they are out of the game on Monday and Tuesday on the second day.

We have an excellent medical team, and they have a role model for every player who joins the team.
If they have individual projects for themselves, we will certainly stick to that.
From our point of view, there was no communication [with tracks], but we have a plan to prepare the players for the games. That hasn’t changed over the years and we will continue to do so.
Bale did not play for Wales after their 1-0 victory over Bulgaria in June after missing three international matches, but Paige believes the player is now in great shape after slowly working his way up to fitness in Spore.
We now have a perfectly fitting Gareth Bale, Paige said. I talked to him, and he’s dying to go. He’s in good shape.
Since I’ve been working with Wales for a year now, it’s probably the first time he’s enjoyed his football and training. He looks and feels healthy.
It’s nice to have a full Gareth Bale on the team.
In addition to his concerns about the workload of Bale in Wales, Mourinho also mentioned his dissatisfaction with the involvement of Arsenal coach Albert Stuyvenberg, who has been working as an assistant to Giggs in Wales since 2018.
There are three players in the Welsh team – Bale, Ben Davis and Joe Rodon – and Paige insisted that the Welsh group was concerned about a conflict of interest with Stuivenberg.
We also have Joe Rodon and Ben Davis, so there have been a number of Tottenham players on the team in recent years, Paige said.
We have three players from Jose, and of course he will be interested, but Albert has been playing Welsh for a number of years, so there have never been any problems there.
