The recent peak in activity makes it very likely that the district will be reduced to the purple phase of the roadmap for opening up the state, which is the most restrictive phase.
It’s not a record, but it’s probably an arch – we’ll probably be purple for two weeks in a row. That ship sailed, District Director Frank Kim said Friday.
The number of hospital admissions rose from 244 on Fridays to 235 on Saturdays. There are currently 90 people in intensive care.
Saturday, both victims were residents of nursing homes.
The district’s positivity, reported every Tuesday, fell from 3.6% to 3.3% this week, while the daily rate per 100,000 people fell from 6 to 5.6.
Next week, the 100,000 bet could rise to 8, which is higher than the spread to stay in the red, Kim said.
Council Vice President Andrew Doe said the district is about to announce a plan to provide residents with test kits for KOVID-19.
The county has purchased 500,000 test kits and plans to make them available to public libraries and town halls across the county, Doe said.
We want it to be mobile and take place at the district level, so people can consider testing as part of their ceremonial safety practices, he said. Before you go to your grandparents’ house, wait two or three days before taking the test and after the family is reunited, two or three days and take the test again. This way you know whether you are safe when you enter or leave the meeting and you also know who you are safe with.
Experts recommend the use of a two- or three-day smear because the test can take a long time to detect an infection.
We haven’t developed the protocol yet, but by next week we’ll have a program that includes places that are easily accessible to people, Do said.
Do not mention the increase in anxiety cases, and add that it indicates that a very difficult winter season is coming, and in combination with the holiday season, people must be very vigilant.
The average number of new cases per day needs to be reduced to around 130 in order to move the neighbourhood to a less restrictive amber level. But to stay in the red, the province has to stay under 225 new businesses every day.
